Minster Windsurf Academy

TASTER:  This session is to introduce complete beginners to windsurfing. Comprising of dvd watch, on land talk, simulator practice and an on the water experience. approx 2 hours. 

Adults: £25 Per Person (£20 for 2 or more).            Children: £15 per child.

IMPROVER SESSIONS:  These are for those who have completed the taster session and wish to learn more and windsurf more. Your progress will be monitored, tips and advice given where necessary. Sessions will work towards your Academy level one.

Adults: £25 Per Hour Per Person. Children: £15 per hour per child. 

COACHING:  These sessions are aimed at those windsurfers wishing to learn a certain skill(s). You can choose whichever category you would like to learn. Ie: Carve Gybes, Water Starts, Stance etc...

REFRESHER:  This is aimed at those who have windsurfed at some stage in the past,  and would like to get back into the sport. Comprising of modern day kit use and refresher pointers/instruction.

KIT HIRE:   Kit is available for you to hire if you are able to sail on your own accord. The equipment you hire will be dependent upon your ability. A regular log will be noted during your hire time. Hire prices vary dependant on equipment used.    

Prices start from:- £15 per hour. £35 per 3 hours. £50 per day (max 6 hours).

ACADEMY MEMBERSHIP:  The Academy welcomes all, and would like to offer you the option of joining our membership. You will receive a unique number on a ‘tax’ style disk to be displayed in your vehicle window. One set of sail numbers, some discounts will be given on selected kit/accessories purchased through the Academy, but more importantly, Your membership will help us to keep our shore cover rescue ski on the water for our and your peace of mind. Your support will be very much appreciated.  

 £30 Per Person Payable on a yearly basis.
